Well, Mother Nature, that was a bit of a curveball! I think it’s safe to say that even if you weren’t directly affected by the recent flooding, you certainly know someone who was. As a lifelong Albertan, I know we’re a resilient bunch and we’re going to get through this one. The fact is, there really is no other option.
For many local golf facilities, it will be days before the full extent of flood damage can be assessed. In some cases, the repairs to infrastructure will stretch into weeks and months and cost many thousands of dollars
But where there’s a will, there’s a way.
The men and women who operate and maintain your golf courses are a passionate and resourceful group who network with an equally passionate and resourceful group of suppliers and industry partners. For these folks, “going the extra mile” is simply business as usual. You can be sure that they’ll be doing just that to restore normal playing conditions as quickly as possible – even in the face of their own personal losses.
